The Town of Middleton is seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of an Administrative Clerk. This is a regular part-time position averaging 20 hours per week. Must be available some daytime and nighttime hours. Great parent hours for a flexible schedule.
Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to, clerical, and financial administrative support to the Administrative Assistant, Assessing Department by managing and maintaining transfers, exemptions, credits, current use, land use change tax, timber tax, and other statutory assessing obligations. Other duties will include administrative support to the Code Enforcement Officer, Planning Board, and taking minutes for the following committees: Planning Board, Zoning Board of Adjustment, and Budget Committee and occasionally Board of Selectmen and sub committees as needed.
Duties also might include, but not limited to, checking emails, ordering resource materials, posting meetings, sending out notices and organizing meeting paperwork.
The Selectmen reserve the right to accept or reject and /or all applicants as deemed by them to be in the best interest of the town.
This position is available immediately.
This position will start at a pay of $18.00 per hour.
