A third cyanobacteria WARNING (ADVISORY) has been issued for Sunrise Lake, Middleton. The bloom was first reported on 17 August, appearing as green clumps along the shoreline. See the images attached, taken today, 17 August. Samples collected and reviewed today, 17 August had cyanobacteria (Dolichospermum) in concentrations up to 243,000 cells/mL in areas of highest observed accumulations. Advisories are issued when cell counts exceed 70,000 cells/mL.
