NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS

Please be advised that the annual drawdown of Sunrise Lake scheduled to begin on Columbus Day, which is Monday, October 13th.

What to Expect

The drawdown is necessary to protect docks and shoreline structures from ice damage over the winter. The gradual process will lower the lake level over several weeks.

Action Recommended

Property owners should take this opportunity to remove or secure any personal property, equipment, or structuresthat may be affected by the reduced water level, including:

Docks, rafts, and swim platforms
Boats, kayaks, and canoes not removed for the season
Water intake pipes or pumps

Please plan to complete your preparation prior to the start date to ensure the safety of your property.
