Sunrise Lake Village District For the Impoundment of Water Incorporated 1980 Middleton, NH 03887 Posted May 2, 2026 Annual Meeting Notice for the inhabitants of the Sunrise Lake Village District, Town of Middleton, in the County of Strafford New Hampshire, who are qualified and registered to vote on Sunrise Lake Village District affairs. You are hereby notified to meet at the Middleton Old Town Hall in Middleton, NH on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 9:00am. The Annual Meeting will be held to act on the following proposed warrant articles for the year 2026. Article 1: To nominate and elect officers as follows: one Commissioner for the term of three years and until a successor is duly authorized, and one Auditor for the term of 3 years and until a successor is duly authorized. Article 2: To see if the Village District will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $16,600 for operating expenses as follows: Insurance $ 2,600 Administration 500 Legal 500 Operation & Maintenance (SLVD) $ 10,000 Dam Registration Fee $ 3 000 Total $ 16,600 Recommended by the Commissioners 3-0, Recommended by the Budget committee 7-0-0 Article 3: To see if the Village District will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $10,000 to be added to The Sunrise Lake Village District Dam Repairs expendable trust fund, these funds to come from the 2025 unassigned fund balance Recommended by the Commissioners 3-0, Recommended by the Budget committee 7-0-0 2026 Public hearing draft Warrant 1 Article 4: To transact any other business that may come before this meeting.
