Important Notice for Sunrise Lake Residents

Attention Sunrise Lake Community!

The Town of Middleton has contracted SŌLitude Lake Management to treat invasive milfoil in portions of Sunrise Lake. The treatment is scheduled for Thursday, June 19, 2025.

To ensure safety and effectiveness, temporary water use restrictions will be in place on the day of treatment. Please read the following carefully:

WATER USE RESTRICTIONS FOR JUNE 19th

  • SWIMMING: No swimming for 6 hours in or within 200 feet of the treated areas.

  • IRRIGATION / WATERING:

    • DO NOT use lake water to irrigate residential gardens, landscape plants, or golf courses until further notice (this may last up to 7 days).
    • This restriction applies to all water intakes within 200 feet of a treatment area and wells within 50 feet of that shoreline.
    • Watering for established lawns/turf is PERMITTED.
  • DRINKING WATER: There are NO restrictions on drinking or domestic water use from your home’s system.

Signs will be posted along the shoreline near the treatment areas.
